Who are we?

Appsolo is the joint venture between two experienced software developers and educators. Paul Powell holds degrees from Dublin City University (DCU). He lectures in AI (Artificial Intelligence), Systems Analysis, Software Development (including Games development) at the Institute of Technology, Sligo. John Kelleher also holds a MSc. from DCU and lectures in Interaction Design and .NET software development with a particular interest in rich internet applications.

Both principals have been instrumental in the development of key programmes at the Institute over more than twenty years. In recent years, they backed a strategic alliance with emerging Microsoft technologies. Their investment in these new platforms has paid dividends measured both in graduate success in the workplace and positioning IT Sligo at the forefront of the next generation of development tools.

Appsolo Ltd. is the bringing to market of the expertise that both principals have cultivated. We bring a fresh perspective drawn from a career in software development coupled with the most most highly developed tools in the industry.
